Great Week!!!

We have had a very busy and exciting week.

On Monday, students that had perfect attendance for 3rd quarter got to enjoy an extra recess.  Great job on coming to school everyday on time!  Also, Monday night was the 5th grade strings concert at the Community Center.  We have some real talent here in 5th grade!

Tuesday was our first day of Math MAP testing.  Students worked very hard and you should be very proud of your child.  Tuesday night, Connor Carr was recognized at the HOPE awards.  This is a great honor.

On Wednesday, we finished up the Math MAP test.  We only have 3 days of Science MAP next week!

Thursday was "Take Your Child to Work Day."  With half the classroom gone today, we were able to get a ton of activities completed and work in smaller groups.

On Friday, we started Running Club again.  Remember this is every Friday at 8:00 am on the green top outside.  We encourage everyone to come and enjoy the fun!

We have two more weeks of MAP testing coming up (Math next week on Tuesday and Wednesday and Science on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of the following week).

We have been doing a lot of preparation for the MAP test the past few weeks and think our students had a great first week of testing! We are so proud!

Happy Easter!

Sincerely,

Ms. Hoffman and the 5th grade team
